The pearls used in this necklace are the ones graded in this strand’s GIA report. Ask, and a pearl specialist will send you photos and a video of these exact pearls, so you can see them before we knot your necklace.
This strand of 50 Japanese Akoya cultured pearls is documented by a GIA Cultured Pearl Classification Report (No. 6243068989, dated September 17, 2026). The pearls measure 8.02mm to 8.52mm, are near-round and round in shape and white with pink and green overtone, and are graded excellent for luster, lightly spotted for surface, very good for nacre and very good for matching, with a gross weight of 198.75 carats. GIA notes that these pearls fall into the select quality range known in the trade as “hanadama.” The original report ships with the strand, and you can verify it at GIA.edu.
