The pearls used in the bracelet are made from a particular type of mollusk known as the Silver Lip Oyster which produces pearls in a range of beautiful colors. This bracelet uses some of the darkest pearls, known as black pearls, which are strung on silk thread and are affixed with an 18K white gold fish hook or figure eight clasp. The black pearls used to make this bracelet are cultured in French Polynesia. The saltwater pearls have a very thick nacre and an irregular shape. No two pearls are ever exactly alike, but when creating a bracelet, pearls of similar shape and color are chosen for a more cohesive appearance. Bracelets are available in several sizes and with your choice of white or yellow gold closures in 2 styles. |
