A strand of natural white Japanese Akoya cultured pearls, 7.5–8.0mm, placed by the Pearl Science Laboratory (PSL) in Tokyo in its highest quality category — awarded only when a strand meets the lab’s criteria for nacre thickness, luster and surface. The body color is natural white: PSL testing found no evidence of staining or dyeing, and its TERI analysis measured very strong brightness with vivid interference colors (the “Aurora” effect).
