11 X 11.5mm White South Sea Cultured Pearl Tin Cup Necklace

This white Australian South Sea natural color cultured pearl station necklace is composed of nine pearls artfully connected to a 1.5mm cable link chain made of white gold. All of the pearls on this necklace are "A Quality." American Pearl uses the industry standard grading system for Australian South Sea cultured pearls. The nomenclature for this grading system is A, B, C and D, unlike the A, A+, AA and AAA grading system for white Japanese Akoya cultured pearls. This grading system is used by pearl farmers when they sell their pearls and is the industry standard. As such, it is the only grading system that fully describes the quality of black Tahitian south sea pearls. An "A Quality" pearl is one of superior quality comprising no surface defects.
