With every AMERICAN PEARL necklace, earring or bracelet purchase, you will receive a high quality gift box and cleaning cloth. Pearls should be stored at room temperature. We believe the beauty of your newly bought pearls should last and be passed down to generations to come. This is why we encourage you to care for your pearls. Your pearls can last for hundreds of years. After each use, wipe your pearls down with the American Pearl cloth to remove any acidic substances that may have landed on the surface of your pearls (sweat, smoke, perfume etc....) Contrary to popular belief, pearls should not be worn in the shower, a swimming pool or even the ocean. Avoid spraying perfume on your pearls or on your skin where your pearls will be worn.
